Water Baptism

In following Jesus, we seek not only his words but His ways. Jesus was baptized in water, fully submerged, as a physical representation to God and man. Although baptism and salvation are not one and the same, they are partners in opening a door to the Kingdom. Once we have decided to follow Jesus, the symbolic act of baptism is our public acknowledgment that our old life is washed away from us, and we are starting a brand new life, made whole and new in Christ Jesus.
